Old English Ballads
The "Old English Ballads" project explores the rich tradition of English folk music, featuring iconic songs such as "Three Ravens" and "Greensleeves." Mateusz Ławniczak brings these timeless ballads to life with emotional depth and historical accuracy, offering a unique interpretation of these centuries-old stories through the sounds of the lute and voice.
Shekseare songs
The "Shakespearean Songs" project delves into the world of music from Shakespeare's plays, bringing to life songs that were part of the original theatrical productions. Featuring compositions such as "Full Fathom Five" and "Where the Bee Sucks," Mateusz Ławniczak interprets these pieces with a focus on their historical context and emotional resonance, accompanied by the lute and his distinctive voice.
Jacaras
Project features Mateusz Ławniczak as a member of the Jacaras ensemble, conducted by Prof. Piotr Zaleski. The program showcases Spanish Baroque music, with all compositions expertly arranged by Prof. Zaleski. Mateusz performs on the guitar, bringing his unique interpretation to these vibrant and intricate arrangements. Musa Itinerante
The "Musa Itinerante" duo features Mateusz Ławniczak and Julieta González-Springer, bringing together the beauty of Spanish and French early music. With a focus on period instruments, the duo performs a captivating repertoire of Baroque and Renaissance works, combining the rich tones of the lute and voice. Through their performances, Mateusz and Julieta offer a unique and intimate interpretation of music from the golden eras of Spain and France, creating a deep connection with their audience. More



Shakespeare in Love
With a programme inspired by one of the most famous films about Shakespeare, British soprano Angela Hicks and lutenist Mateusz Ławniczak invite the audience to the world of the Bard and his timeless tales of love. The concert features exquisite songs of the English Renaissance by masters such as John Dowland, Thomas Morley and John Danyel – the very melodies that once resounded in The Globe Theatre and at the court of Queen Elizabeth I. This is an intimate, poetic evening where the delicate sound of the lute intertwines with the pure soprano voice, weaving a musical story of love, longing and the beauty of Elizabethan England. More

The "Trio Nuevo" features Mateusz Ławniczak, Julieta González-Springer, and Víctor Martínez Huaman, performing traditional Mexican music.
